Penguin Diner 2

Penguin Diner 2 is a fantasy point and click game where the player has to help the Penguin to manage and run a diner successfully. A target is given for each day in the form of money collected from the customers.

If you achieve that target you can move on to the next day of business. The money you collect will be put into Penny’s bank. This money can be used to buy upgrades from the main catalog.

Game Controls

Game Penguin Diner 2 is played as a point and click game. For all actions, you are expected to use the left click of the mouse. There are no options to use any keys from the keyboard.

Main Menu Options

In the main menu, you will get options Play game, View scores and Instructions.

Instructions – Here you will find a brief guide on how to play the game and few tips to help. The instructions are given in multiple pages.

Play game – this will start a new game if you are playing the game for the first time. If you have already played the game, you will be given an option to continue the old game or start a new game.

View Scores – this will take you to another page where you can see the scores other people have made in the last few days.

Game Options

When you are playing the game, you can pause the game by clicking on the pause button that is found at the right bottom of the screen just below the cash register. Once you pause the game, you will have options to resume the game, end it for the day so that you can start at the same point later and to toggle the music.

Once a day of game play is over, you will have the option to start another day of running a diner. Along with starting another day, you will also get an option to visit the catalog to check out the store and get upgrades.

Back Story

In this game, Penny the Penguin has reached her home after being lost in an icy mountain in Antarctic for some time. When she finds the quality of food has gone down in her absence, she decides to open her own diner. You are expected to help Penny run the diner profitably by providing quick and efficient service to customers.

How to Play

Once you start the game, customers will start filling in. The customers stand in line to be seated. You have to click on the customer and an empty table to seat the customer on that table. Sometimes, customers will be arriving in pairs. When a couple walks in, you can seat them in a table with flowers or decorations as this will give better tips. Once the customer penguins are seated, they will read the menu and give a signal when they are ready.

You have to visit the table to take the order and once the food is prepared and ready on the counter you have to deliver it to the correct table. Once the customer leaves, you have to again go to the table by clicking the table. This will clean the table and add the left tips to the cash register.

Upgrades

There are a lot of accessories you can get from the catalog. There are essentials like skates and there are decorative items like table cloth and entertainment options. Each of the accessories cost a particular amount and if you have that much balance in the bank, you will be able to buy it.
